CellCentric has agreements with over 20 of the key epigenetics Principal Investigators (PIs) from leading institutions around the world.  The network represents an unmatched platform of scientific excellence across different but overlapping areas of research within epigenetics, including chromatin modifying enzymes, cancer initiation models, pluripotency and embryogenesis. 

Together the PIs of the network have published over 110 publications in Nature, Science and Cell and over 875 in the leading journals covering epigenetics. This record is unmatched by any other company focused on epigenetics.

Through contractual relationships which meet the needs of multiple stakeholders (PIs, Technology Transfer Offices, Institute leaders and research funders), CellCentric is able to assess pre-publication proprietary insights to identify novel therapeutic drug discovery opportunities, building up a portfolio of epigenetic programmes.  The company is able to identify those innovations that are truly competitive and ahead of the game.  In return the PIs gain an objective view on the commercial application of new ideas and a corporate partner in CellCentric with whom they can seed drug discovery programmes whilst not upsetting the existing dynamic of their laboratory.  Technology Transfer Offices also benefit from having an organisation that works with them to provide depth and breadth of knowledge that they would otherwise lack in the epigenetic space.
